Josef Albers

Josef Albers
Josef Albers is a pioneer in 20th century modern design movement. A student and later on a teacher a Bauhaus...as per the Albers Foundation he was the first student to offer the "master" position at Bauhaus. During my design education, I learned about color interaction from the theory given by him. His color theories hold true even in today's time, it teaches one to see and observe. The final product of design may change with changing times, but the innate human thought stays the same, and thus the relevance of foundation level design teaching. He is not only a color theorist but he was also a painter. He also taught preliminary course in paper at Bauhaus. More about Josef Albers can be found athttp://www.albersfoundation.org/
